PPD; Module Reflection
Throughout this academic year of 2013/14, I have been learning new skills in self and critical evaluations which have empowered me to take charge of my own professional development. Through a series of lectures and practical sessions I have explored many methods of assessing my own skills base and target setting, which have enhanced my ability to improve both academic and vocational skills.
The aim of PPD this year was to enable me to focus on progression to the next stage of study/work through personal, educational and career development.
PPD is very important to me as it is a huge stepping stone in my career. The evaluation of skills and everything else included is all done for a strict purpose; to give me the best chance of being successful. I am happy with the work I have carried out for this module and believe that I have done my best to get my career off to a good start. Looking back at last year, I have come on leaps and bound and it’s all down the effort I have put it. There’s a saying which perfectly matches what I’m trying to say here and it goes a little like this… “You only get out what you put in”. Here’s to a final positive result!
