Neon Legal √

Oh yes, that’s the designs and presentations done! A massive huge weight off my shoulders!

Now I know I haven’t kept you all up to date with the progress of my design work but I’ve been very busy at College recently and things are starting to come together at last. And, yes here I am writing another beauty of a blog post!

Looking at my design, I am very happy with the way it turned out! In the end, most people opted for the single page design and I think I have executed it well. As usual when I design, I always chop and change things and that again was the case in this design, especially with the Our Team page! But saying that, I do think I made changes for the best!

Below is a PDF of my final design for Neon Legal. Hopefully when it comes to the presentation, the guys at Neon appreciate my work and have lots of good things to say about it. I have always been referring with my peers and their comments have been very positive :)

Now the big one! On Wednesday 2nd April, I presented to four of the Neon Legal team, Tushar Bhate, Ami Browning, Paul Elliot and Simone Turner. I was up at 10:40am and to be brutally honest, I was nervous. I don’t usually get nervous, but today I did! Anyways… The nerves didn’t have that much of an impact of my presentation. I thought I done quite well to be honest!

I took with me my tablet so that I could read from my notes that I had prepared. I thought this would be the best way of explaining my design work. There’s nothing worse when someone keeps turning round to the screen and saying “erm” “err” etc!

I concentrated on my speech a lot as well. Often I speak just a tad to quick so it was important that I was clear and concise when I was going through the content on each ‘page’. Once I had finished presenting, I received a lot of positive feedback from Paul and Tushar, which made me feel a lot more relaxed! Put it this way… I walked out with a smile on my face, so I must of done something right! :)

It’s a waiting game now though, we find out the Winner & Runners Up on Friday so fingers crossed I’m in with a shout. If not though, I won’t be disappointed at all, this has been a great experience for me and I am grateful of Neon Legal for this brief. Look at it this way, it’s left a great piece of work that can go straight into my portfolio! :)
